Connie and Mary Flynn welcome you to the website of their four star self catering guesthouse. This guesthouse of character is situated at the foot of scenic Ballyhoura hills, close to the Limerick/Cork road. We have a beautiful lounge with a traditional open fire and a colour television. There is also a separate dining room which also has an open fire and much antique furniture. There is oil fired central heating (OFCH) throughout the house. Our kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. We have four bedrooms, all with polished floors. Two of these rooms are en suite. There is also a twin room and a single room adjacent to the bathroom. |

This four star guesthouse is equipped to cater for the disabled. There is a ramped entrance from outside the house into the hallway. The commonal bathroom has extra wide doors and a large ramped accessible shower. There is grab rails fitted in key positions in this bathroom. There is a special chair with an arm in the shower. Ardpatrick is an ideal base for exploring the south and west of Ireland. Just a short drive away from Cork, Blarney, Killarney, Ring Of Kerry, Cliffs Of Moher, Tipperary, Limerick and Lough Gur - ... a living record of over 5,000 years of Irish history. Whatever you want to do, Ardpatrick will make your visit truly memorable and enjoyable. For the more energetic there is a wealth of activities nearby - historic trails and walking routes, horse - riding, swimming, golf and great fishing. Kilmallock is one of the finest of Ireland's medieval towns. Situated on the river Lubach, some 26km (18 mls.) south of Limerick, close to Galtee and Ballyhoura mountain ranges. Numerous Historical and medieval structures remain untouched by modern influences throughout the town. A visit to Kilmallock and teh appreciation of its Historical trail is a very enriching experience, particulary for those with a keen interest in history. |

At Rosslare take N25. Wexford N25. New Ross N25. Waterford N24. Carrick on Suir N24. Clonmel N24. Cahir N8. As you approach Mitchelstown you will see a turning to your right at the Firgrove Hotel. Take R517 to Kilfinane. In Kilfinane find the Ballyhoura tourist office on your right as you come through Main Street. Continue straight on that road (Kilmallock Road). Take first left for Ardpatrick. Travel 2 miles approx to junction. "Sunvale Inn" (Pub) on your left, also Telephone Kiosk. turn right, go 300 yards to 4 crossroads. Go straight ahead at this cross. we are three quarters of a mile from there. There is a little cottage on road edge at the right hand side just bedore our entrance on right. The entrance is old stone gate on iron and has Bohernagore written on it. Gate is usually open so you may not see name. There are pine trees close to entrance too. From Rosslare take N 18 road straight into Limerick City Centre. Approaching City Centre Traffic lights you will observe Roches Stores (DEPT STORE) on your right. When you get the green, go straight through passing through William Street, travel approx 1 and a half miles to roundabout. At roundabout go three quarters turn. This leads to another intersection where you take N 512. Look for Loch Gur, Kilmallock signs. It's 20 miles due South to Kilmallock via Ballyneety, Grange and Bruff. In Kilmallock go straight through on to Ardpatrick road. Travel 4 miles to 4 crossroads where the road widens and there is a triangle. Turn right signposted Ballyhea. We are three quarters of a mile from there. There is a little cottage on road edge at right hand side just before our entrance on the right. The entrance is old stone with new gate marked Bohernagore. There are pine trees close to our entrance too. A long lane leads down to our bungalow. |
